This year the holidays are a bit different. Each of us is adjusting to the pressures that 2020 has uniquely given us on cultural, professional and personal levels. It has us looking back and looking forward. We spent some time finding old photographs and memories — reminders of how much each of us has transformed over the years, and a quiet promise that we will continue to do so.

As we reflect on the year:

We’ve felt loss. And we hold space to honor loss and to grieve.

We’ve felt inspired. And we celebrate those who have lifted communities up and provided help and service in moments of need.

We’ve felt transformed. And we champion the change makers who examine, challenge, and innovate across the systems in which we live, work and receive care.

We use this moment to rest up. Change is hard work, and so we spend time in quiet reflection to mend and to recover stamina for the journey ahead.

We believe the future is good. This era has given us rapid innovation, rejuvenation, and boundless possibilities for tomorrow.

We wish all of you a happy holiday season and the brightest new year as we all continue to transform the world together.
