We are excited to introduce our newest sailor, Barbara Brown, who has joined the Mindsailing team as a copywriter to support our health care practice. Barb will help lead content development for clients who are transforming their organizational strategies in a time of disruption.
“Barb has a superb blend of experience,” says Mindsailing CEO Julie Mackenzie. “She’s got breadth in consumer brands, health care and business-to-business. She understands the nuances of media from direct mail to digital. And we are excited to add her talents to the team.”
Before joining the Mindsailing team, Barb worked on the fast-paced digital team at Target, where she developed campaigns and drove copy development to engage audience and build brand equity. She also joins the team with previous agency experience and a passion for making a difference.
“I knew that I wanted my next career step to take me to an agency that shared my values,” says Barb. “I found just that in Mindsailing, and I’m excited to partner with the team in making the world a better place.”
Barb has extensive experience conceptualizing, planning and enhancing communications. And her ability to turn complicated messages into clear and concise copy will prove to be a strong asset to the team.
“The health care industry has remarkable breadth and depth,” says Barb. “And it’s on everyone’s radar right now as we continue to walk into the unknown with COVID-19. And because of that, there’s a wide range of opportunities to improve communications and streamline key takeaways.”
A Pittsburgh native, Barb currently resides in St. Paul. When she’s not putting pen to paper, she spends her time with her teenage daughter, dog (Biscuit) and two cats (Oreo and Walter).
